Monaghan Youth Council
Welcome to Monaghan Comhairle na nÓg, the youth council that voices your opinions. We work together to help improve the lives of Monaghan’s younger citizens.
Monaghan Comhairle work on a number of youth related issues throughout the year.The key issue is identified by the Youth of the County at the annual AGM. For 2012 the group is working on promoting opportunities for young people around Monaghan and the 'Driving Change' project which focuses on promoting a safer driving environment for younger drivers.

New video: Junior Cert Results 2010
(click to play video)This is a short film which was written, directed and performed by members of Monaghan Comhairle na nÓg and Monaghan NYP. Entitled "Don't Pour Your Dreams Away", the film looks at two different ways a young person can celebrate receiving their Junior Cert results, one involving alcohol and another not. It then shows us the potential consequences that can affect us for the rest of our lives.
